Starting Sept. 12, screams will fill the air at Six Flags Great Adventure. The Jackson, New Jersey, park transforms into a spooky playground through Nov. 2, with haunted attractions scattered across the grounds.

A fresh terror awaits in Plaza del Carnaval. The new Plaza De La Muerte mixes ghostly spirits with Mexican traditions. Dark shadows dance with bright colors as specters stalk through misty streets.

Major movie franchises take center stage in four spine-chilling mazes. Step into the Warrens' museum of cursed items in The Conjuring Universe. Fight through zombie hordes in Army of the Dead's quarantined Vegas strip. Run from maniacs in the blood-soaked halls of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Break ancient Halloween rules at your own risk in Trick 'r Treat.

Three more mazes round out the scares. Mad test subjects stalk the halls in Asylum. Twisted circus performers snap their teeth in Big Top Terror, brought by M&M's. Deep in a cursed cabin, The Witch's Reflection, backed by Snickers, traps souls in dark magic.

Monsters roam free in four outdoor zones. Mad clowns chase screaming guests through CarnEvil's twisted boardwalk. Ghost pirates haunt misty waters at Curse of Blackbeard's Bounty. Zombies stumble from abandoned mines in Exile Canyon. The walking dead swarm around Main Street's blood-red fountain.

Between scares, catch stunning shows. Watch death-defying stunts in Unleashed. Feel the thunder of Blade Drummers. Gasp at Freak Show"and shiver through The Awakening. All rides keep running in the dark.

Kids Boo Fest offers gentle thrills when the sun's up on weekends. Little ones can grab candy, watch fun shows, and play games without the nighttime scares.

Want to face the mazes? Buy a Haunted Attractions Pass for $35. Full access with park entry starts at $79. The park warns: night scares work best for guests 13 and up.
