Next month marks a turning point as Puratos opens its first U.S. glaze production site in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The state-of-the-art Ultra High Temperature plant starts up Oct. 27, adding to sites in Mexico, Belgium and Italy.
Guests can join the launch event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1660 Suckle Highway. After the ribbon falls, visitors will walk through the new manufacturing spaces.
By making ingredients on U.S. soil, the Camden County site cuts reliance on foreign supplies and eggs. Advanced systems boost quality while making production smoother for American partners. Shorter supply chains allows fresh products to reach bakeries faster.
The glaze plant sits next to Puratos' Industrial Pilot Bakery, which started up this June. This test kitchen focuses on making commercial baking better for the planet.
For South Jersey, the new site brings both jobs and growth. It fits into a bigger picture of Puratos spreading its reach across the U.S. market.
During tours, visitors will see both facilities in action. The combined site shows how Puratos keeps pushing forward in American food production. Modern methods meet time-tested baking know-how under one roof.
