A new shuttle now runs between Vineland and Atlantic City, designed to help provide better work access for casino employees. Starting Oct 1, casino staff can catch two daily round trips that match their shift changes.

The hour-long trip connects the Vineland Transportation Center to Atlantic City's Bus Terminal. Morning buses start at 5:35 a.m. from Vineland, with afternoon trips at 1:35 p.m. Return trips leave Atlantic City at 7:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

"This express shuttle helps remove a key barrier for residents seeking employment in Atlantic City by making their commute more direct and efficient,” said NJ Transit President & CEO Kris Kolluri, per WFPG.com.

The new route stems from Governor Phil Murphy's August 2025 push to boost South Jersey transit options. Twenty passengers fit on each shuttle, which stops at the bus terminal where riders can switch to city jitneys or other NJ Transit routes.

NJ Transit CEO Kris Kolluri praised the cross-party effort behind the project, "It's one important initiative NJ Transit has committed to in support of Governor Murphy's broader plan to deliver more responsive transit service throughout South Jersey."

Riders must pay $6 cash per trip. Those who qualify — seniors, disabled passengers, and low-income riders — pay half price at $3. Monthly NJ Transit 8-zone bus passes work too.

Shuttles run year-round from 110 West Landis Ave. in Vineland to 1901 Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City. A 45-minute wait in Atlantic City helps workers switch shifts without rush.
