Margate City Property Leads Atlantic County Sales at $3.2 Million

A house at 100 S. Thurlow Ave. in Margate City changed hands for $3.2 million during the week of Nov. 3. This made it the most expensive residential transaction in Atlantic County. The deal wrapped up on Oct. 10.
Built in 1941, the place spans 3,547 square feet. Buyers paid $902 for each square foot.
Atlantic County recorded 56 home sales that week. The mean price hit $501,210, while buyers spent an average of $246 per square foot across all transactions.
Second place went to a condo at 4 Paul Clark Drive in Somers Point, which fetched $1.65 million on Oct. 8. Constructed in 1990, this unit contains 2,624 square feet and sold for $629 per square foot.
A house at 115 Fourth St. S. in Brigantine claimed third spot at $1.62 million. The 2022 construction offers 3,878 square feet. Oct. 10 marked the closing date.
Margate City showed up twice in the top 10. A house at 25 N. Huntington Ave. went for $1.465 million on Oct. 9. This 2007 residence measures 2,259 square feet, bringing the per-square-foot cost to $649.
Brigantine secured another top-five position when the residence at 301 29th St. S. sold for $1.175 million. Dating back to 1946, this 1,784-square-foot dwelling commanded $659 per square foot when it closed on Oct. 9.
Atlantic City contributed two sales to the top 10. A house at 1633 Atlantic Ave. brought $950,000 on Oct. 14. Builders completed it in 1910. Meanwhile, another Atlantic City residence at 115 Seaside Ave. sold for $485,000. That 2,064-square-foot dwelling from 1915 closed on Oct. 14.
Egg Harbor Township landed two spots on the list. A house at 329 Sea Pine Drive sold for $534,000. This 2,112-square-foot residence from 2015 went for $253 per square foot on Oct. 14. Another dwelling at 206 Branch Hill Drive brought $484,900 on Oct. 9.
Somers Point finished the list with a residence at 111 W. Ocean Ave. The 1,960-square-foot dwelling sold for $515,000 on Oct. 10.
