Somerset County Player Wins $1 Million Prize in Ultimate Spectacular Scratch-Off Game

Someone in Somerset County struck gold. They snagged $1 million through a "$1,000,000 Ultimate Spectacular" scratch-off ticket purchased Friday at Quick Mart Food Store on Washington Valley Road in Bridgewater. New Jersey Lottery officials shared the news Monday.

This ticket marks the fourth jackpot winner sold since the game launched in October 2024. Five top prizes of $1 million remain up for grabs in this $30 scratch-off game.

Winners can pick between 25 yearly payments of $40,000 or take home a single cash payment of $595,300. The ticket sold in Bridgewater's Martinsville section contains five game plays.

Players scratch away the latex coating. Beneath it, they find 10 winning numbers and 30 ultimate numbers, with each ultimate number showing a prize amount below it. Match any ultimate number with any winning number? You win the prize shown below that matched number. Reveal a "MONEYBAG" symbol in any ultimate numbers play spot and you automatically claim the prize displayed for that symbol.

Three other winning tickets turned up at Anderson Mini Market on Anderson Avenue in Fairview, Bergen County; Big Pantry Food Market on Amboy Avenue in Perth Amboy in Middlesex County; and a Shell gas station on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, Ocean County.

That $1 million ticket sold at the Toms River Shell became the first of two scratch-off jackpots for one Ocean County couple this year. They also claimed a $3 million jackpot in a different scratch-off game.

Reveal a "5X" symbol in any ultimate numbers play spot to win five times the prize amount shown for that symbol. A "10X" symbol means you win 10 times the prize amount. Uncover a "PLANET" symbol in any ultimate numbers play spot and you automatically win $2,000.

When a prize amount appears in any of the four bonus spots, you win that amount without question.
