Asbury Park Ranks Fourth Among New Jersey’s Most Festive Holiday Downtowns
This Monmouth County city stands alongside seven other Garden State spots that shine during the winter season.

Asbury Park secured fourth place on WorldAtlas's list of New Jersey's most festive holiday downtowns. This Monmouth County city stands alongside seven other Garden State spots that shine during the winter season.
WorldAtlas picked eight downtowns that turn into holiday havens when November and December arrive. Clinton, Morristown, Cape May, Asbury Park, Summit, Lambertville, Burlington, and Somerville made the cut.
Visitors flock to this Shore Point even when temperatures drop. The boardwalk stretches along the coast. The Atlantic Ocean creates a stunning view during autumn and winter strolls.
Convention Hall becomes home to the Asbury Park Bazaar throughout the holiday weeks. Local artists, craftspeople, and shop owners fill the space with handmade treasures and gifts.
The Bazaar borrows its style from Germany's traditional "Weihnachtsmarkt" markets. It's a way to launch the holidays right here at the Jersey Shore.
WorldAtlas says each town on the list brings something different to the table. These places run yearly events that get the season started.
The recognition shows how New Jersey delivers holiday magic without requiring long trips. Towns across the state blend light shows, tree ceremonies, menorah lightings, and concerts by local performers.
Summer brings packed crowds to the boardwalk. But winter? The holiday months create an entirely different mood along this stretch of coast.
Convention Hall sits right on the waterfront. The building hosts the market-style gathering where local creators and vendors show their work.
