The Monmouth County Park System will host the Creative Arts Center Exhibit & Sale from Dec. 6-12 at Thompson Park Creative Arts Center in Lincroft. Original artwork from students and instructors will be on display. Many pieces can be purchased.
Hours run 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Thompson Park Creative Arts Center sits at 805 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, New Jersey.
Friends of the Parks sponsors this yearly sale, which showcases work created by participants in year-round programs at the center.
Classes in drawing, acrylic, oil, and watercolor painting happen throughout the year. Programs also include jewelry making, knitting, sewing, basket weaving, photography, hand-building, raku, and ceramics.
Back in 1960, the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners established the park system. It now serves as the county's Open Space, Parks, and Recreation agency.
