Airplane! Stars To Host Screening and Live Q&A at Count Basie Center
Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty will appear at the Count Basie Center for Arts in Red Bank. They’ll introduce a screening of Airplane! on October 9.

Hays played reluctant pilot Ted Striker in the 1980 disaster parody. Hagerty portrayed flight attendant Elaine Dickinson.
After the movie ends, both actors will share behind-the-scenes stories from filming. Fans can ask questions.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at thebasie.org. The venue announced this event on Monday, Jan. 13.
A VIP meet-and-greet experience is available as an add-on package. Fans who purchase this option can meet both stars, pose for a professional photograph, and receive an autographed tour poster.
The VIP add-on became available at 10 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday, Jan. 13, through ticketmaster.com. Supplies are limited.
"We have clearance, Clarence, to show the beloved comedy classic, Airplane! on the BIG screen joined live by two stars of the film," the theater announced, according to app.com.
