Hard Rock Bet rolled out Atlantic City Live Roulette on Jan. 14. This connects online players in New Jersey to an actual roulette table at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. The stream runs around the clock on their app and website.

Playtech provides the tech behind the video feed. Players on their phones bet on the identical wheel that visitors can watch in person at the casino.

"We're thrilled to bring the excitement of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City floor directly to players' screens," said Rich Criado, VP of casino at Hard Rock Bet, according to PlayNJ. "Atlantic City Live Roulette blends the authenticity of a live table with the convenience of online play, giving our New Jersey players a true same wheel, same spin experience."

The setup works like this: remote users join the game that's happening on the casino floor at that exact moment. A dealer spins the ball on a real wheel. Online bettors place their wagers through phones or computers. Standard roulette rules apply — the payouts depend on bet types like straight-up numbers, red or black, and even or odd picks.

George Goldhoff runs the Atlantic City property. He said this captures what makes the casino exciting, whether guests visit in person or log in from home. "Our team is excited to showcase the energy of our live table games to a broader audience," Goldhoff said, per iGaming Future.

Hard Rock Bet now offers more than 3,800 games. Slots? Check. Table games? Yes. Other live dealer options? Those too. Players can link their activity to Unity by Hard Rock, which ties online play into the casino's rewards system.

Marat Koss works as chief interactive gaming officer at Playtech. He explained that the partnership connects online bettors with real casino floors, something Playtech has built out in states where gambling is legal.

Who can play? You must be over 21 and physically inside New Jersey when you log in. The app scores 4.9 stars on Apple's App Store and 4.7 stars on Google Play.
