Jersey Freeze will open its fourth spot at 1447 Route 18 in Old Bridge come May 2026. The soft serve shop hasn't picked an exact opening date yet.
Three locations already exist: Freehold, Colts Neck, and Holmdel. The Freehold place sits on Routes 9 and 33, right across from Barnes & Noble. You'll find the Holmdel shop at 101 Crawfords Corner Road, and Colts Neck's sits at 340 Route 34.
Someone started Jersey Freeze back in 1952. Matt Cangialosi and Katie DiNonno bought it in 2014. They sell ice cream cones, cakes, cupcakes, milkshakes, and other frozen treats.
Bruce Springsteen has liked this chain for years. Back in 2022, Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi walked into the Freehold spot and grabbed cones. The shop posted a photo on Instagram showing both rockers standing with Cangialosi and DiNonno.
Cangialosi and DiNonno want to open the Old Bridge shop in May, and they might add more spots later. They announced this through Instagram.
This marks continued growth across Monmouth and Middlesex counties. All three current spots stay open.
