Tommy’s Tavern + Tap Plans 15,000-Square-Foot Paramus Site With Rooftop and Three Bars
Tommy’s Tavern + Tap will construct a 15,000-square-foot spot at Bergen Town Center in Paramus.

Tommy's Tavern + Tap will construct a 15,000-square-foot spot at Bergen Town Center in Paramus. Triple T Hospitality Group CEO Tim Selcov confirmed crews will erect the building on the old Paramus Lighting Company property, right next to where Bahama Breeze used to be.
Planning board members gave full approval in December.
Developers want to start construction in late Spring 2026. If things go as planned, doors should open early Spring 2027, Selcov said.
What's coming? Plans show a covered rooftop, more than 400 seats, and three bars, Selcov said, per the Daily Voice. A 2,000-square-foot outdoor space on the first floor will have firepits, games, and lounge seating for guests who want fresh air.
This restaurant, bar, and pizzeria runs several spots around New Jersey. You can find them in Clifton, Morris Plains, Freehold, Edison, and Sea Bright.
The Paramus project marks significant growth. At 15,000 square feet, it'll rank among the biggest Tommy's Tavern + Tap sites statewide.
Bergen Town Center has changed over recent years, with the Bahama Breeze shutdown creating room for fresh ventures at the shopping plaza.
Opening day sits more than a year out. Breaking ground in late Spring 2026 starts the clock on building this massive space.
That rooftop? It'll be covered, so guests can use it when it's cold, hot, or raining. Three bars scattered around the property will pour drinks in different zones.
First-floor outdoor features span 2,000 square feet, where firepits and lounge chairs sit near game stations.
With seating for over 400 people, big parties and gatherings will fit comfortably. Multiple bars and eating sections will distribute crowds throughout.
