Two ticket holders split a $756,544 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in Friday's drawing. Each walked away with $378,272. One ticket came from a 7-Eleven on Main Street in Hackensack. The other was purchased at Krauszer's on Woodbridge Avenue in Highland Park.

The winning numbers were 12, 17, 20, 31, and 39. The Bullseye was 17 and the XTRA was 03.

Six straight drawings had passed without a top prize winner before Friday. For a $2 ticket, the odds of snagging the jackpot sit at 1 in 1,221,759.

Each retailer received a $2,000 bonus for selling winning tickets. The Hackensack location sits in Bergen County, while Highland Park's store operates in Middlesex County.

Forty-nine players matched four out of five balls and the Bullseye to win $500. Fourteen of them bumped their prize to $1,500 by matching the XTRA.

The jackpot has reset to $150,000 for Saturday's drawing. Jersey Cash 5 is a daily draw game from the state Lottery Commission.

Players pick five numbers between 1 and 45. They can add the Xtra for a chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye gives players another chance to win.

Drawings happen seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.
