Cherry Hill Mall Adds Four Retailers and Restaurants as Dick’s House of Sport Construction Continues

Cherry Hill Mall has opened four shops and eateries while work pushes ahead on a 120,000-square-foot Dick's House of Sport. Coach, OFFLINE by Aerie, POP MART, and Suki Hana now call the 1.3 million-square-foot shopping center on Route 38 home.

Coach brings handbags and fashion to the mall. OFFLINE by Aerie, spun off from the Aerie brand, sells fitness wear.

POP MART opened its only Philadelphia-area spot at the shopping center. The character-based collectibles shop moved from a vending machine to a brick-and-mortar space. Suki Hana serves fast-casual Japanese food: teriyaki bowls, sushi, and hibachi-style plates.

PREIT, which owns the property, has signed a relocation lease with Lululemon. The activewear retailer will move into a bigger spot within the center.

"These openings reflect the sustained interest we continue to see from both national and specialty retailers seeking a presence at Cherry Hill Mall," said Joe Aristone, chief revenue officer at PREIT, according to Real Estate NJ. "Each addition enhances the overall experience for our shoppers while contributing to the long-term strength and momentum of the property."

Dick's House of Sport should open this calendar year, according to PREIT. It's not your typical Dick's Sporting Goods.

The store will have a climbing wall, simulated golf bays, and other recreational activities. An outdoor field will be part of the facility, too.

The project replaces One Cherry Hill, a nine-story office building in the parking lot that's been torn down. This addition builds on what the property has been doing with leasing and redevelopment, strengthening its standing as a top regional spot for shopping, dining, and experiences.
