Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will undergo a $50 million makeover in 2026. The work covers hotel rooms, gaming floors, restaurants, and performance venues.

The makeover rolls out in stages across the year. Crews will work around guests. The doors stay open while construction happens.

Every hotel room gets stripped and rebuilt with updated fixtures aimed at high-end visitors and premium players. The casino floor grows to fit more tables and machines.

Several restaurants will debut with chef collaborations and upscale menus. Performance spaces get redesigned to accommodate concerts and special gatherings.

City leaders anticipate the spending will generate jobs in hospitality and building trades. Hard Rock Atlantic City ranks among the region's biggest employers. Planners predict the work will spur hiring across trades and customer service roles.

Atlantic City has weathered uneven visitor counts lately. Leaders believe the refresh will pull in travelers from across the country and overseas. These changes aim to strengthen the resort's draw throughout all seasons, not just peak summer weeks.

The spending fits Atlantic City's wider push to rebuild its tourism sector. Recent years brought fresh attractions, better roads, and expanded air service to the coast.

The makeover arrives as traditional casinos wrestle with online gaming platforms and mobile wagering. Hard Rock International owns venues worldwide in the lodging and gaming business.

Planners want to deliver a full-service destination. The venue will cater to vacationers, business groups, and families alike. Managers anticipate the boosted room count and performance lineup will attract company gatherings and convention bookings.
