Lacey Township Police Plan Bicycle Rodeo With Stunts and Safety Classes May 30

Lacey Township Police Department will host a Bicycle Rodeo on Saturday, May 30, at Lacey Township Middle School. Rain won't stop it. The event runs from noon until 5 p.m.

Kids can attend bike safety classes. Officers will inspect bikes and help families register them. A BMX stunt show featuring Dialed Action Sports Team takes center stage. Ocean County Sheriff's Department will perform demonstrations too.

Beachwood Bicycles plans to attend. Four food vendors will serve hungry guests: Chick-fil-A, Between The Bunz NJ Food Truck, Elemen7ts by NitroGirl, and Tom and Dee's Italian Ice.

According to Patch, the department described the program as offering "an afternoon of fun, excitement, education, and more!"

Officials haven't released registration details yet. Police said they'll share information about signing up in the coming weeks.
