Duke Island Park sits along Old York Road in Bridgewater. The venue provides trails and open space for both the timed 5K and the casual nature walk option.
Money raised supports the organization's work with at-risk youth across the region. The nonprofit provides housing, counseling, and other services to help young people transition to stable living situations.
Both in-person and virtual options allow supporters to participate regardless of location. Can't make it to the park? The virtual run gives people a chance to support the cause from anywhere.
The 50/50 raffle offers participants a chance to win cash while supporting the nonprofit's mission. Activity booths will provide entertainment and information about the organization's programs throughout the morning.
This marks the 28th year the organization has held the fundraising event at the Bridgewater location. The annual gathering brings together community members, families, and supporters of youth services.
